I just returned from a holiday in Thassos in Greece, so I wanted to post up some photo's to show what I got up too!

I recently went on holiday with my parents, elder sister and brother in law to the island of Thassos in Greece. So I thought I would use this post to show a small selection of my photo's.

The holiday started at the worst time possible, we had to wake up and leave at around 2 AM on a Sunday morning to catch an early flight out of Birmingham. I am not a morning person; more of an evening owl, so I just watched the Olympics opening ceremony until it was time to leave, setting me up nicely for an ever more tiring day.

We flew into the city of Kavala in Greece where we would catch a ferry from the mainland to the Island of Thassos. So we eventually got to Thassos about 14 hours after we left home.

Over the next two weeks we got up to lots of different things from visiting nearby towns, lounging around on the beach and by the pool, fishing, boat trips, eating lots of local food and more.

I am back in the UK now and back at work but it was a nice holiday and ticks another greek island off my list!
