Have you seen the new 4K Forza Horizon 5 screenshots?

Microsoft announced last week that Microsoft’s largest exclusive game franchise, the Forza Horizon series, is coming to 4K later this year. This is the first time the Forza franchise will be available in 4K, and the new game will feature dynamic 4K HDR lighting and beautiful visuals, as well as a new dynamic weather system.

I recently received a few screenshots from a developer who’s working on a Forza Horizon 5 update. These screenshots are not final, and may not make it into the game. They are presented here for your convenience, though. Forza Horizon 4 was an amazing game, and I enjoyed it a lot.

4K screenshots of Microsoft’s latest racing game, Forza Horizon 5, have been leaked. The screenshots, which were published to Reddit, show the games’s four-player multiplayer. This means that, if you own a 4K TV, or are interested in purchasing one, you can get to grips with the game’s impressive visuals and competitive multiplayer before Forza Horizon 6 drops next year, which (fingers crossed) will feature 4K video capture tech.

This news will come as welcome news to all of the die-hard Foza fans out there, as they have been waiting for this new experience for quite some time.

After the success of Horizon 4, the development team had a difficult task in trying to top it all with a new game.

We’re getting close to the premiere of Forza Horizon 5, and the firm has decided to share a new batch of screenshots, which will only serve to pique fans’ interest.

Mexico is the final destination.

So, without further ado, know that Playground Games has shared some brand new pictures of Forza Horizon 5 and detailed the 11 distinct biomes that players will drive through when the game launches later this year.

According to Xbox Wire, the locales in Forza Horizon are equally as essential as the cars, and this latest release will be no exception.

The action in Horizon 5 takes place in Mexico, and the team went to great lengths to research and reproduce each biome.

Our team gathers reference from the site and generates concept photographs that showcase each biome’s beauty and unique uniqueness. Don Arceta, Art Director for Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 5, states, “We use tools like photogrammetry to recreate the terrain with exact accuracy.” “And we bring the beauty of the world inside through the sights and sounds you’ll hear all across the place. The purpose of the creative process is to make you feel as if you’re there in person.

Another significant announcement from Playground is that the seasons, which debuted in Forza Horizon 4, will return in the fifth installment.

What’s more intriguing is that these seasons will be experienced differently by each of the 11 biomes.

As illustrated by the dev team, spring signifies rainy season in Mexico’s jungles and agriculture, while summer brings strong tropical thunderstorms along the coasts.

What are the biomes in Forza Horizon 5?

The 11 biomes are spread out over a landscape that is around one-and-a-half times the size of Forza Horizon 4’s, resulting in the most diversified map a Forza Horizon game has ever given.

This is the route we’ll be taking:

  1. Canyon

This is the biome that was shown in the Forza Horizon 5 reveal trailer back in June. It’s full of striations-patterned rock formations, many of which erode into distinctive hoodoos found exclusively in the canyon. Fun fact: each habitat has its own sound, and the canyon has the most echoes of all the biomes.

Coast of the Tropics

When you think of a tropical Mexican vacation, this is probably what comes to mind. It seems like a postcard come to reality, with palm trees, seagulls, white sand beaches, and tranquil waters. At least, that is until storm season arrives, which drastically affects the way you must navigate it. Beware of soaring palm palms!

3. Agricultural land

Unlike some of the previous Forza Horizon games, which featured flatter or drier farmland, these rolling hills are teeming with greenery, fruit-bearing trees, and wide, shallow rivers. While traveling through here, there will be lots of fences to bash through and gorgeous homesteads to investigate.

4. Deserted Hills

This biome is full of dry grasses on rolling hills and plains, as you might expect given the name, allowing plenty of open expanses to drive across if you feel like off-roading. One of the most interesting elements of this biome is a lake that dries up during the winter, allowing for shortcuts through rapid routes and secret spots.

5. Jungle

This biome is home to some stunning waterfalls and winding rivers, as well as rich, dense vegetation and tall trees that permit brilliant beams of sun through the canopy. There are also other secret temples in this area, all of them are based on real-life Mexican places.

6. Desert that is still alive

Forza Horizon 5 has a cactus desert with towering saguaros, which is a first for the Forza Horizon series. A number of unusual rock formations and rock heaps may also be seen in the vicinity. It’s vibrant, with plenty of flowers and wildlife, as the name suggests.

7. The Rocky Mountains

While the tropical coast has a lot of trees and foliage, this one has a very distinct feel to it. You’ll get a complete view of the ocean and some great views of the sun setting at the end of the day because there aren’t many trees. You can even take a ride through (read: through) a golf course as a treat for all you golfers out there.

Sand Desert No. 8

This biome, which is full of tall sand dunes, is ideal for riding around in a buggy and cutting into the sand. If you don’t want to have sand between your toes, many of the roads in this area have long straightaways, giving you plenty of chances to see how fast your favorite ride goes.

9. Swamp

Although a swamp may not seem like the ideal location for a race, the shallow waters of this habitat are ideal. The swamp is also home to a large number of mangrove trees with strong, interwoven roots. During races, you can actually smash through these, modifying the path based on whether your car can take it.

Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Guanajuato

There is a lot of wonderful architecture and brilliant colors everywhere you turn in Mexico City, as in many other cities. However, unlike many cities, it has a lot of rolling hills and tunnels, which makes for some pretty entertaining race routes. You’ll hear plenty of echoes bouncing around the city’s congested roads, just as you will in the Canyon.

Volcano No. 11

This gigantic mountain is located right adjacent to the Living Desert, which is another first for the Forza Horizon series. Because it’s a very high-altitude volcano, driving to the top is a one-of-a-kind experience that rewards gamers with views that stretch far into the distance. This is also the only spot in the game where you’ll see snow, so bring an extra jacket with you.
