How to find out when someone’s Gmail account was created

When I first started using Gmail, there was a feature called “What’s New” that would show me the last 10 emails that someone had sent. I used this feature for a few months until I got tired of seeing the same 10 emails over and over again. Now I know what they are, and I can skip to any of them with a few clicks.

Google’s Gmail service is “open”, which means that anyone can create an email account on the Gmail servers, in the same way that people can create a Facebook account, or a Twitter account—but unlike Facebook and Twitter, Google does not collect a user’s email address or password and does not store it on its servers. The problem is that, if you lose your password, you’ll have a harder time setting up a new account. If you want to know how long ago someone joined Gmail, you can find out by examining the timestamps on their messages. Here’s how:

Google’s Gmail service has been around for a long time, and it’s probably the most-used email service in the world. That’s why it’s an obvious choice for businesses looking to set up an email system for their employees and customers. But the service also has a downside: it’s easy for a hacker to steal your Gmail account information, if they get ahold of your email login details.

Having an email address has become a necessity in our daily lives. You will always be needed to enter an email ID, whether it is for social media, work, or pleasure. Google’s Gmail is one of the most widely used email services. Everyone has a Gmail account these days. Millions of accounts have been generated since the launch of Gmail in 2004. And if you’re one of the people who created a Gmail account a long time ago, you might be curious about its creation date, or the creation date of someone else’s Gmail account. This tutorial will show you how to determine the date a Gmail account was created.

When a person joins or creates an account on many online platforms, you may see it. With this information, you can determine whether an account was intended to be used properly or was created specifically to be used as a phony or spam account. Sometimes just knowing when you started an account feels wonderful, and it helps you reflect on how long you’ve been using the service. Read on to learn how to find out when someone’s Gmail account was created.

Find out when a person’s Gmail account was set up.

So, can you figure out when someone’s Gmail account was created? No, that is not the case. You’re not going to be able to do it. Furthermore, no one else has access to that information. You won’t be able to find that information unless you have access to that person’s Gmail account and authorization to go through the account details. Otherwise, there is no way to find out when a person’s account was created.

Some apps and websites claim to be able to obtain such information just by entering the person’s email address. These methods are ineffective and will merely result in spam being sent to a certain email address. Avoid services that promise to be able to obtain this type of information.

Find out when your Gmail account was created.

You can find your account creation date in Gmail because you won’t be able to find someone else’s. You can find out when your Gmail account was created in a few different methods. Let’s get going.

Keep an eye out for the Welcome message.

When you sign up for a new Gmail account, you’ll get your first email from the Google Community team, which will go through some of the features and advantages of using Gmail. You’ll notice an email count on the right side of the Gmail interface, which may be 1-500 or something similar. Simply select Oldest by clicking on it. You’ll now be able to read emails dating back to the day you registered your account, as well as the Welcome Email. Only if you haven’t erased the Welcome Email will this work. If you don’t have the welcome email, the following method may be able to help you figure out when your Gmail account was created.

Examine your POP/IMAP settings.

  1. Use a web browser on a laptop or a desktop to access your Gmail account.
  2. Toggle over to the Settings (tool icon) to the left of your Profile Picture.
  3. Select See all Settings after you’ve clicked on the Settings. How to find out when Gmail account was created
  4. Alternatively, if you already have your Gmail account logged in, go to your account’s settings page by clicking here.
  5. Select the POP/IMAP and Forwarding tabs.
  6. Examine the POP Download area now.
  7. You should be able to see the date next to the radio button that says Enable POP for all mail.

However, if you have never made changes to your POP/IMAP download settings and don’t have any of the radio buttons selected, you will then not be able to see any kind of date as it is in my case. Also, you will have to keep in mind that you might see the date as to when you changed the POP & IMAP settings, and in such cases, it will not be the account creation date. Rather, it will be the date when you changed the particular setting.

On YouTube, look up the joining date.

Your text will be rewritten by QuillBot. Start by typing or pasting something into this box, then hit the enter key.

  1. Log in to YouTube using your preferred web browser. Make sure you’re signed in with the Gmail account you want to use to look up the creation date.
  2. Simply click on your profile image to bring up a drop-down menu once you’ve signed in.
  3. Select Your Channel from the drop-down menu.
  4. Simply select the About tab from the channel’s main screen.
  5. The Joined date can be found under the stats. It’s possible that it’s not correct, and you’ll simply see the year you joined.

Of course, this isn’t always accurate, as YouTube’s counting method isn’t always accurate and takes a long time to update when it comes to video views. However, there is another approach that may provide every information, including the time you created the account.

To find out when your account was created, use the Google API.

If the other procedures didn’t work for you, this is the last and greatest option. This approach makes advantage of Google’s APIs to retrieve account information such as the creation date and, in some cases, the time it was created. Here’s how to figure out when your Gmail account was created.

  1. First and foremost, click here to go to the Google API Explorer website.
  2. You’ll be greeted by a window now. Make sure the Google Auth 2.0 and API key check boxes are checked.
  3. After choosing both check boxes, click the blue Execute button on the left. How to find out when someones Gmail account was created
  4. Now sign in or select the Google account you want to use.
  5. In order to access your Google account, Google API Explorer will now ask for your permission. The blue Allow button should be clicked. How to find out when someones Gmail account was created
  6. Simply scroll down until you see the newly generated Time option. The date and time of the account’s creation will be displayed. The date is formatted as YYYY-MM-DD, followed by the time, which is displayed in a 24-hour format with both seconds and milliseconds.

Your text will be rewritten by QuillBot. Start by typing or pasting something into this box, then hit the enter key.

Another option is to use the Google Takeout service to check the date. It allows you to export all of your Google data in a variety of formats. When Google+ was still active, this strategy worked. This method no longer works now that Google+ has been discontinued. Let’s just hope Google doesn’t remove public access to the Google API Explorer website, as there will be no other way to determine the account creation date.
