You might run into these issues while using Firefox on Windows 11

I am about to try helping someone with a Windows 10 computer, and I just want to make sure that I am not putting them in a situation where they make a mistake that could result in some kind of serious issue.

Recently, I installed the latest version of Firefox on my Windows 10 PC. I chose to upgrade from the Developer version of Firefox to the current version. Instead of the normal installation process, I continued with the upgrade, which took about an hour. After that, I noticed that a restart occurred, and I could no longer use Firefox. You see, the version of Firefox I was using was the Developer version. The Windows version of Firefox was not compatible with the Developer version.

I’ve been using Firefox since version 1.0, and it’s been my browser of choice for over a decade. Firefox has changed a lot since then, but one thing hasn’t: its support for legacy plugins. Long before Microsoft released Windows 10, they did the same thing with their browser: made legacy plugins incompatible with their newest browser, Edge. The result is a lot of people are running out of options and hoping that Firefox will somehow be fixed soon.. Read more about firefox download and let us know what you think.

Microsoft released the latest build for Windows 11, 22000.100, to Insiders last week, bringing us one step closer to a stable version of the OS.

This release, like previous preview versions, has various faults and issues that users have been quick to report on forums and social media sites.

And while we’re on the subject of bugs, here’s one that generated quite a stir among Windows Insiders, and it has to do with one of the most widely used browsers.

When trying to download or switch tabs, Firefox freezes.

Even though the Redmond tech corporation released build 22000.100 almost a week ago, insiders are still reporting issues.

We are aware that some programs do not work properly or at all on the new OS, however some of the issues users are experiencing have no obvious reason.

Mozilla’s Firefox browser exhibits some strange behavior when run on Microsoft’s forthcoming operating system, according to Reddit.

After reading this post, one might conclude that this occurs because the browser has too many addons installed.

Other Firefox users, on the other hand, who use the browser on Windows 11 and have a similar number of extensions installed, have reported no problems.

What can I do to resolve this problem?

There is no definitive solution to this problem yet, however some of the more tech-savvy users suggest turning off some of the extensions or switching to a different profile in Firefox.

We’ve got you covered if you’re having trouble creating a new profile in Mozilla Firefox. This is what you must do:

  1. In the search bar of Firefox, type about:profiles. The Profile Manager will open as a result of this action.

Only use the Choose folder option if you want to choose where the profile will be saved on your computer.

Select a new or empty folder if you want to save the profile in your own folder. If you select a non-empty folder and then remove the profile and select the “Delete Files” option, everything in that folder will be erased.

This is not, however, an approved workaround, and it does not guarantee that the problem will be resolved. We’re all hopeful that when the new Windows 11 preview build is released, Microsoft will put an end to it.
